Phil Collins es un cantante, baterista y tecladista inglés nacido el 30 de enero de 1951 en Londres. Es integrante del famoso grupo de rock Genesis y con igual éxito desarrolla su carrera solista.

“A groovy kind of love” no es una canción escrita por Phil Collins. Ha sido interpretada por deferentes artistas y la versión de Phil Collins es del año 1988. Fue un gran éxito, alcanzó los primeros puestos en USA y el Reino Unido. El tema fue utilizado para la película “Buster”, protagonizada por el cantante inglés.
