Scarlet fue un dúo vocal inglés formado por Cheryl Parker (voz, guitarra) y Jo Youle (piano, teclados, voz). En su formación original estaba Joanna Fox, quien dejó la banda antes de que esta alcanzara el éxito.

“Independent Love Song” forma parte del álbum “Naked”. El sencillo fue lanzado en 1995 y se ubicó en el puesto 12 del ranking británico. Esta canción integra la banda de sonido de la película “Bed Of Roses” del año 1996.
