White Lion es una banda estadounidense de Heavy Metal formada en la ciudad de New York en 1983 por su vocalista Mike Tramp y el guitarrista Vito Bratta. Su primer período de actividad termina en 1991 y vuelven en 1999 para continuar su carrera, la cual sigue hasta la fecha.

“When The Children Cry” fue lanzada en 1987 y pertenece al álbum “Pride”. El sencillo fue su gran éxito, logró ascender hasta el tercer puesto del Billboard Hot 100 en 1989.
